We are a well-established accountancy firm based in Exeter, with an expanding bookkeeping portfolio. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Apprentice, with full support to develop into a fully qualified bookkeeper.

You will play an important role from day one, working directly with clients to maintain accurate financial records and support their business needs.

About the role

• Bookkeeping and VAT returns for a variety of clients
• Based at our Exeter office, Pynes Hill
• Full-time hours: 37.5 per week (9:00am – 5:00pm)

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Bright, motivated and keen to learn
• Organised, reliable and able to manage their workload
• Confident communicating with clients
• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Highly detail-focused, with a strong commitment to accuracy

Entry requirements

• Minimum of 8 GCSEs at Grade 5 (C) or above
• Maths and English at Grade 6 (B) or above
• Equivalent qualifications will be considered

Salary & benefits

• Starting salary: £17,000
• Regular pay reviews every 6 months
