Office  Adminstrator

As a rapidly growing firm, Griffin Chartered Accountants are looking to recruit a full-time organised individual to support the business as an Office Administrator. Ideally the successful candidate will have worked in a similar office-based role, but this doesn’t necessarily have to be within the accountancy industry, as full training will be given. The role at Griffin will include (but is not limited to) answering the phone to clients and putting the calls through to the appropriate individuals, preparing accounts packs to be sent to clients, typing up letters to various people, including HMRC, Companies House, clients etc and various statutory filings e.g. tax returns, confirmation statements, credit control, supplier management etc.

To be considered you must have at least 5 GCSEs at Grade C (5) or above, including Maths and English.

Key attributes include:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programmes, such as Excel and Word
  • Reliable and organised
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent and confident speaking on the telephone to both colleagues and clients
  • Capable of multi-tasking
  • Ability to prioritise

Please note, due to the nature of this role, it needs to be office based and it will not be possible to offer working from home options.

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
